Meghan & Eric’s Wedding at Ivory Acres | Frewsburg, NY
Meghan and Eric’s wedding at Ivory Acres was one of those days where all the little details just came together so beautifully. The rustic barn was transformed into an elegant space filled with soft white florals, warm gold accents, and just the right amount of greenery. It was the perfect mix of cozy and classy, and I loved how everything flowed together.
Ivory Acres already has so much character, with its beautiful wood beams and warm, rustic feel. But Meghan and Eric brought in so many pretty details that gave the whole space a completely different look.

All the Pretty Details
Let’s talk about this decor for a minute, because there was so much to love!
White florals filled the space, arranged in wicker baskets and vases that added a little natural texture. The mix of white, gold, taupe, and greenery carried throughout the reception and tied everything together so well.
One of my favorite details was the seating chart. Instead of one large sign, they used individual gold frames for each table assignment, displayed on a beautiful white arched shelf. It was such a fun way to make something practical feel like part of the decor.
And then there were the little touches that made the reception feel extra special. Gold table lamps added a soft glow to the tables, while the draping behind the head table created a beautiful backdrop. Their new last name lit up above the table, and a giant light-up K celebrated the name they now share.
It was all so thoughtfully put together without feeling overdone. Just a really beautiful combination of textures, colors, and personal touches.

A Meaningful Ceremony
The ceremony was such a sweet mix of heartfelt words and a little unexpected humor. The officiant prepared a homily full of meaningful words about the importance of keeping your vows, living by your principles, and choosing love and forgiveness throughout marriage.
Just as the ceremony was nearing its end, the donkey at the nearby barn decided to join in with a very loud hee-haw! Honestly, the timing couldn’t have been better. The officiant had mentioned that it happened during the rehearsal, too, so they were expecting a repeat performance. Sure enough, the timing was just right. A little unexpected barnyard humor made the moment even more memorable!

A Beautiful Evening at Ivory Acres
As the evening got underway, the warm lighting inside the barn made everything feel even more inviting. The chandeliers, string lights, and table lamps created the prettiest atmosphere, especially against all the natural wood.
The food catered by Steener’s Pub was just as delicious as it was beautifully displayed. Guests enjoyed homemade dips and a charcuterie board filled with all the best bites during cocktail hour. Dinner featured a fresh salad and a pasta bar with meatballs, crispy chicken, and homemade red and white sauces—and it was SO good!
And of course, some of my favorite moments are always the ones that happen in between all the planned parts of the day. The first dance, the laughter around the tables, and the chance to slow down and celebrate with the people who mean the most.
There is something special about a wedding reception that feels both beautiful and comfortable. Meghan and Eric’s day had just that kind of atmosphere.

A Dance Floor That Just Kept Growing
And can we talk about the dance floor for a minute? Because Noah from Erie Encore Entertainment absolutely knocked it out of the park!
The dance floor did NOT slow down. If anything, it seemed to get fuller and fuller as the night went on. The energy just kept building, and guests were ready to keep the party going. It’s always fun to see a reception where everyone is out there celebrating, dancing, and having the best time.
A packed dance floor, a room full of laughter, and a whole lot of fun? That’s a pretty great way to end a wedding day!
