What to expect

YAY! You're expecting an adorable little baby! This is for sure something to celebrate and absolutely something worth documenting in great detail.
This process is pretty simple! First, you'll use your due date to reserve a spot on my calendar, sign the contract, and pay your deposit.

You're about to welcome your sweet new bundle. I know there's lots to do, I just have a quick short questionnaire for you to fill out to help me prep for your session.

YaY!!!!!! Baby has finally arrived! Once you've notified your close friends and family...be sure to reach out to me to let me know too!
When you book your session you're reserving a spot - NOT the actual date. Now is the time when we actually set a date. Your session will take place a week or two after baby arrives.
Baby Arrives!
I'll arrive at the location of your choice OR you'll come over to the studio.
We will chat all about the details of your sweet new baby while I have the honor of documenting that sweetness and the connections you all share with him/her.
Your final payment is due at or before your session.
Session Time!
Three weeks following your session you'll have your final gallery. For years to come you'll reminisce about how tiny your little one once was.

For an outdoor session, with the exception of weddings of course, if bad weather is forecasted we will check the day of and make a course of action. We all know how quickly the weather can change and how inaccurate forecasts are so let's not abandon ship TOO quickly. I want you to love your photos and none of us want to hang out in the rain for them. We can reschedule for another date if the weather doesn't cooperate.
WHAT Happens if the weather is bad?
Absolutely! Your deposit can be transferred to a new session within 60 days of the originally scheduled session. You can also upgrade your package at any time as well.
CAN WE MAKE CHANGES AFTER BOOKING?
If you have a special spot in mind, we can totally explore that as an option. If you don't have a location in mind, I have locations that I typically use and will be happy to discuss those options as well.
Where will the session take place?
The retainer/deposit secures a slot on my calendar.
WHAT IS A RETAINER/Deposit?
You might have been surprised how far in advance my bookings can be.
>>Don't wait. Earlier is BEST!
Weddings: ASAP!!! I book at least a year in advance for popular dates.
Newborns: Booking around 3 months before your due date is a good idea!
Seniors: EARLY is best...by MARCH! I only photograph seniors in June, July, & August.
Families: Full session summer and fall slots are limited. Three months is advised.
