If you have granted me the great honor of capturing your sweetest bundle in my studio – thank you!! If you are considering a studio newborn session – this post is for you!
Before we get started, I want to let you know that newborns are my passion and I consider myself blessed to be around these little miracles! I promise that I will take the best care of your little one and this process will be sweet, relaxing and fun for all of us.
If you love the idea of multiple bowls, beds, wraps, backdrops, and props, a studio session is the one for you. While I love documenting you in your home (see that post here) I am limited on what I can bring to you. This way you can pick all the options I have available for you. All the hats, outfits, headbands, and floors. We will also be able to do multiple setups in the studio such as the bed pictured below.
Another big bonus of a studio session is climate control. It is essential to have our photography location temperatures on the warm side. Newborns feel the safest and coziest in warmer temps that I can control at my studio. This keeps them happy during outfit changes or swaddles.
While we keep things pretty laid back during in-home sessions, and I have no problem working around any potential clutter that comes with bringing a new baby home, I know that sometimes you just want to step away from fighting any temptation to clean. A studio allows you to show up and focus just on admiring the baby!
Hopefully, this narrows down your choice in how you want to document your newest addition. If you have any questions or want to check out my work you can visit the link -> https://rowenandeden.com/in-home-newborn-session/
