It’s been a few crazy weeks and it’s time to catch up on blogs. I’m excited to share photos from Melanie + Jared’s wedding. There is nothing a wedding photographer loves more than a great couple and a chill wedding timeline! Nick’s Place in Edinboro, PA was a wonderful location to unite these two in marriage.
Melanie + Jared’s wedding was full of non-rushed time to get all the portraits we wanted! I will always recommend to my couples to schedule in more time than you think you will need so we have wiggle room to get all the portraits including sunset greatness like we did with Melanie and Jared!
Extra wiggle room in your schedule is especially important when you’ve hired both a professional videographer and professional photographer (I HIGHLY recommend doing so). Garrett Cofer captured some great video footage of their day. I really enjoyed working with Garrett as the videographer for this wedding. He is one of my second shooters and is the videographer for others. I cannot express how great it is to have fellow wedding vendors who just mesh with your style. Knowing someones routine of the day, having a mutual respect in what each vendor has to capture or do – it makes the day even better on our end and that’s a win for our clients too as things are much more streamlined!
Photographers – I encourage you to find vendors you like and add them to your “recommend” list for your clients, working with people who make the day smooth allows you to capture you couple even better than before!
