I was back at one of my favorite wedding barn venues again a few Fridays ago and I fell in-love with Henry and Abby! They combined an intimate and cozy feeling along with a big celebration seamlessly in their day. They scheduled in moments for just the two of them to soak up the excitement for God bringing them together as husband and wife, while also rocking out on the dance floor with their friends and family!
We started off the day with a sweet “first touch” and exchanging of letters. Followed by a powerful moment for the couple as their respective bridal parties prayed over them before the ceremony. How incredible is the tangible feeling of support and a covering of prayer for this couple! A special moment to be apart and document.
Throughout this wedding I couldn’t help feeling like these two reminded me of my husband and me. Their story, the height differences, and the laid back energy! I loved it!
I got to steal Henry and Abby away for a bit to allow them to reconnect after the wedding and capture some gorgeous photos of just the two of them. Bear Ridge felt like it fit these two perfectly with all the forest greens and quiet we had for photos. Just wait until you scroll down through all the portrait goodness! 😍
We ended the night bopping along to the live band (the band was amazing! Shout out to For The People) and enjoying the sound of laughter!
