Michaela and Richard’s wedding day at Peek’n Peak Resort (aka The Peak!) was one of those days that just felt extra special from the start. From the sweet, emotional moments in the morning to the wild fun on the dance floor later that night – this wedding had it all.

Bridal Party at The Peak

First of all, Michaela? Like so many brides we’ve had the honor of working with, Michaela is truly such a kind and thoughtful bride. From our first consult call so long ago, through the engagement session, planning calls and on her wedding day – Michaela (and Richard too!!) were a joy to work with. On her wedding day, Michaela was constantly checking in with her vendors, saying thank you, and making sure everyone felt appreciated. That kind of energy just made the whole day feel even more meaningful.

The morning started off with Charisma Salon getting everyone glammed up, and Michaela looked absolutely stunning. But the moment that really tugged at everyone’s heartstrings? When her mom saw her in her dress for the first time. Cue all the tears. It was such a raw, beautiful moment between mother and daughter—one of those that reminds you what weddings are really about.

Their ceremony was held outdoors with the most beautiful view. The sky was that perfect shade of blue with just enough clouds to make it dreamy, and it honestly looked like a painting. Christopher Butler did an amazing job officiating. The ceremony was fun, heartfelt, and totally authentic to who Michaela and Richard are as a couple.

After the “I dos,” everyone headed inside for the party and what a party it was! DJ Uncle Robbie brought the energy, and the dance floor stayed packed all night. Seriously, guests did not hold back, and it made for the best kind of reception: loud, joyful, and full of laughter.

Some of the sweetest touches? The cake and cinnamon roll favors from Fifth Avenue Cake Works were such a fun (and delicious!) treat for everyone. The bouquets added a sweet little touch as well! Each of the bridesmaids carried a unique bouquet consisting of a singular type of flower. The different types of flowers held by the bridesmaids were all found in Michaela’s bouquet as well. The beautiful florals by Meant to Bee Flower Farm added just the right pop of color and softness to the whole day. From start to finish, everything felt so thoughtfully chosen and beautifully executed.

We had the joy of capturing the day as part of the Rowen + Eden Photography team, with Phil and Alena behind the cameras working along side Garrett Cofer on video. Together all the big and quiet moments that made this day so special were artfully documented. The entire day flowed smoothly thanks to the incredible coordination of Matti Uber, the Wedding & Social Events Manager at Peek’n Peak.

All in all, Michaela and Richard’s wedding at The Peak was everything a wedding should be: joyful, meaningful, and so much fun. You could feel the love in every part of it—from the emotional moments to the hilarious dance floor moves. We’re so honored to have been entrusted with documenting your special day! Congratulations Michaela + Richard! Sending love and prayers for a beautiful marriage as well. 💖
