An Irons Mill Farmstead Wedding

Mallory and Max’s Irons Mill Wedding was a true celebration of love, family, and unforgettable moments. Set at the beautiful Irons Mill Farmstead, their day was filled with color, heartfelt traditions, and so much joy that even a little rain couldn’t put a damper on the festivities.

A Morning of Anticipation (and a Little Rain)

As the bridal party began prepping for the day, the skies opened up and a soft rain began to fall. But instead of worry, there was laughter and excitement. The bride and her ladies were oh so chill as they were pampered in the cozy on-site bridal suite, thanks to the talented team at The Beauty Agency [@thebeautyagency__]. The ladies with The Beauty Agency handled both hair and makeup with elegance and care. Mallory and her ladies looked absolutely STUNNING!

Meanwhile, Max and his groomsmen got ready at a nearby hotel, donning classic navy blue suits from Jos. A. Bank, creating a sharp, timeless look to complement the romantic tones of the day. These men arrived to the venue ready for the day looking dapper!

A Soft Palette with a Colorful Pop

Mallory’s bridesmaids wore stunning dusty blue gowns, creating the perfect soft contrast to the colorful floral arrangements designed by Holly Hannah. From the bouquets to the ceremony backdrop, every bloom was bursting with cheerful hues and intentional beauty adding warmth and vibrancy to the day.

Mallory was radiant in her gown from Gabrielle Atelier [@gabrielleatelier], sourced through One White Lane Bridal [@onewhitelane]. Her lacy dress was a perfect blend of classic and modern, and the moment she shared a first look with her dad and brother was emotional and sweet.

Personal Touches and Meaningful Moments

One of the most touching parts of the day was the couple’s “first touch,” where Mallory and Max exchanged private vows before walking down the aisle. It was a quiet, emotional moment that added depth and intimacy to the celebration.

The sun shined bright as the ceremony began. The ceremony was officiated by someone very close to the couple, Rick Opiela, the groom’s father. His heartfelt words and personal connection made the ceremony incredibly meaningful. Another standout moment was the ring warming blessing, where close family members passed around the couple’s wedding bands, offering private prayers and blessings, a beautiful way to include their loved ones in the start of their forever.

A Reception to Remember

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a delicious meal catered by Medure’s Catering [@medurescatering], and, of course, the traditional Pittsburgh cookie table. The cookie display was truly a showstopper! Every guest found a sweet treat (or several!) to enjoy, with an incredible variety and thoughtful presentation.

The evening was full of dancing, laughter, and energy, thanks to Premier Wedding DJs [Matt Medley | @premierweddingdjspgh]. From the first dance to the last song, the floor was never empty. Matt’s ability to read the room and keep the party going was top-notch. You NEED to book Matt for your upcoming wedding!
