Some couples have an elaborate story about how they met. For Marisa and Brayden, it started with a Snapchat message.
When Brayden first reached out, Marisa’s response was simple:
“Who are you?”
Despite her hesitation, the two kept talking. Eventually they met in person at the Swedish Festival in Mt. Jewett. During their conversation, Marisa mentioned that she loved country music. Brayden wasn’t about to let that opportunity pass by. Before the evening was over, he had purchased tickets for the two of them to attend a country concert the very next night.
They spent the drive singing together, and somewhere during that evening Brayden knew he had found the woman he wanted to spend his life with.
That journey led them to June 13th, a fitting wedding date. During the ceremony, guests learned that 613 is known in engineering as a “perfect match.” Whether by coincidence or design, the meaning seemed to perfectly reflect Marisa and Brayden’s relationship.

Wedding Prep
The wedding day began at Marisa’s dad’s home, where the wedding party spent the morning preparing together. The ladies gathered upstairs while the guys claimed the basement, creating a relaxed and familiar atmosphere before the day’s events began. Away from the crowd, Marisa + Brayden shared a few quiet moments together before portraits and the celebration ahead with a first look. After portraits, everyone made their way to The Sonshine Factory for a beautiful June ceremony.

Ceremony at Sonshine Factory
One of the most meaningful parts of the day was having Brayden’s grandmother officiate the ceremony. It was clear how much she loves both Brayden and Marisa. She spoke proudly of her new granddaughter, describing Marisa as hardworking, kind, and beautiful. Nobody could miss the genuine affection behind every word she shared.
Brayden’s grandfather also took part in the ceremony, offering wisdom and encouragement to the couple as they began their marriage. Having both grandparents play such significant roles made the ceremony feel deeply personal and centered on family.
When asked to describe Marisa, Brayden chose three words: beautiful, intelligent, and loyal. Throughout the day, it was easy to see why.
While family was at the heart of the celebration, the details were equally memorable.

A Celebratory Reception
The design of the reception at the Sonshine Factory perfectly balanced elegance and comfort. Beautiful china added a timeless touch dotted throughout the venue, while coordinating vases and expertly designed florals brought color and texture throughout the venue. Every space felt intentional without feeling overly formal.
Guests were welcomed into a reception designed not only to look beautiful but to create an experience. A stunning bar area became a natural gathering place throughout the evening. Individual charcuterie boards offered a unique and personal touch during cocktail hour. Mini tambourines added a little extra fun to the dance floor, and a custom cannoli cart gave guests the opportunity to enjoy freshly made cannolis tailored to their liking.
It was the kind of celebration that felt both refined and relaxed. It was a wedding where thoughtful details enhanced the experience without ever overshadowing the people gathered there.
As the evening unfolded, family and friends celebrated, danced, laughed, and enjoyed the beautiful summer weather. It was a day filled with meaningful moments, thoughtful details, and a whole lot of love.
Every detail at Sonshine Factory felt intentional, from the carefully curated reception space to the warm hospitality experienced throughout the day. The combination of beautiful weather, meaningful moments, and a welcoming venue made for a wedding celebration that guests will remember for years to come.
Marisa and Brayden, thank you for allowing us to document this chapter of your story. We are so excited for all that lies ahead for you both.
