I first documented Mike and Caylee at their engagement session in Ellicottville, New York inside a swanky restaurant complete with drinks and pizza and I just knew we were going to hit it off. These two have such an elegant but fun style that the pictures in this blog post will blow you away!
One of the reasons I love Bear Ridge as a wedding venue is because it has a spot for everyone to get ready – so you arrive at the venue in the morning and can do everything from start to finish right there. It makes the whole day so much easier. We started with a few get-ready photos, and the details of the day, and then spent the rest of the time hanging out with Caylee and Mike celebrating their union!
They say rain on your wedding day is good luck and that means Mike and Caylee are SUPER lucky! It started the day with a light sprinkle and then by the end, it was pouring. Thankfully they were good troopers and we were still able to capture some precious memories.
After the ceremony, Caylee snuck away to change up her hair! Notice the gorgeous locks at the reception. Both ways fit her dress!!!
One of the things I loved about their day was the reception they ended up flipping the traditional anniversary dance. They started the song with the couple who had been married the longest and then invited couples to join them! It lets us celebrate the couple and then FILL the dance floor! I hope THIS becomes the new trend!
Thank you for giving me the honor of documenting your wedding day Mike and Caylee! Here is to the sweetest marriage for the rest of your life!
